Maintain the Health Information Management Department at the assigned center(s) in accordance with the procedures documented in the company Health Information Management Manual. High School Diploma or GED. Preference will be given to college level education and/or certification in Health Information Management. Experience in long term care preferred. Must successfully complete Job Knowledge testing. Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at the level necessary to accomplish the job. Must be able to relate positively and favorably with residents and families and to work cooperatively with other employees. Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented. Basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company software. Must meet all local health regulations, and pass post-employment physical exam if required. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry. Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.This is a part time position.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
